The Lemonade Game is really fun (and addictive). It is a virtual lemonade stand. You hear the weather forecast for the next day, then have to set the price, buy the materials, and mix the lemonade accordingly. You make money, and if people like you, you get a higher popularity level. It's kind of like Roller Coaster Tycoon minus the roller coasters, or Dino Park Tycoon minus the dinosaurs. It's fun.

I woke up this morning and the first thing I heard on the radio was that Mr. Rogers had died. I was (and still am) really sad. His show was the one I would always wait for when I was little. I told time by the length of his show. ("When will we be there?" "It will take the same amount of time as two episodes of Mr. Rogers"). And I loved watching him make crayons.

Today the sun was shining and the weather was mild (if you consider slightly windy and 30 degrees Fahrenheit mild), and I kept thinking that, yes. It is a beautiful day in the neighborhood.

You will be missed, Fred Rogers.

There was an article written about the fact that Mr. Rogers' death will undoubtedly confuse some children. As they put it, "Some children may not believe Rogers is dead because they just saw him on television." And that is a good point. An important point. Mr. Rogers will live on forever through the magic of reruns, and his fans' memories.

You can now rate your teachers online. I think it's kind of cool, because good teachers get good marks. Some teachers don't like it because of the negative marks that are given sometimes. But, I know that I personally didn't feel like spending the time grading teachers I didn't like, I only commented on those I did like. So, no harm was done on my account.

It is a bad sign when your AP Statistics class of 29 at the beginning of the year, has now dropped down remarkably in size, due to the fact that twelve (12!) of the students have dropped the class. Also, of those who are remaining, most are taking the class pass/fail, because they are almost failing. And a few of the really smart kids are getting a 100%. There is no mid-ground. Perfect grade, failing grade, or given up. School administration, take note of this, and do something different next year.

Tonight in Everwood Ephram said the Mourner's Kaddish. He said the Mourner's Kaddish in Hebrew. He said the Mourner's Kaddish in Hebrew, and it kinda made me cry. I love corny tv shows. Especially corny tv shows where the main character is cute. (And Jewish. That makes it kinda cool too, only because that doesn't happy too often - people being Jewish without being stereotypically Jewish.)

I am happy to say I can strike through that entry. The email is working again. (Although the other one still works too.)
Something is wrong with my e-mail address (the catharsis.org one). I can currently be reached at " souprgirl1[at]aol[dot]com ".

Note to government: Look. Look at these pictures. If you declare war, all these people will not be backing you.

"I'm an introvert. You are a wonderful person and I like you. But now please shush."

I'm thinking there are a lot of introverts in the community of people who blog - larger than in the community overall. Because those who are extroverts aren't sitting at home and typing into a computer. They are out, surrounded by loudly talking people. And those who are introverts are more likely to be sitting at home, introspectively thinking.

Last night we had a birthday party for my grandmother, so I had been cleaning my room up for the past two days. (My room is a disaster area 99% of the time - and I like it that way.) It had gotten cleaner, but still had a lot of random junk on the floor. Well, a little bit into the evening, my six-year-old cousin came downstairs and told me she had been upstairs cleaning my room. She was right. She had been. When I went back up to my room, I found a shirt hung up, some things in the closet, other stuff put into piles... I think I will hire her. She can clean my room any time she wants!
